Artist's Statement I see myself as an artist whom turns to nature for both material and inspiration. Some of my clothes brightly colored in organic patterns. Texture and depth are what I aim to bring into some of my clothes. Material in my designs is as much importance as the subject matter. I always inspire by nature and my background. I enjoy using on ancient motif and transferring them to contemporary design. I feel that one of the major contributions to the world of fashion I have been able to make is my originality of textile print design and the way I have allowed the textile to influence the garment shape. I love designing textile. I love it and enjoyed the mental challenge of taking an art form into another stage. I don't just design prints or dresses; I love to produce them. These interests fuel the direction in my pieces. It is my abiding wonder of this world and our experience of it that I am exploring in my work.
