Fariba Mirzaie
was fashion designer in Iran and since coming to Canada she has graduated from the textile art program at Capilano College. The designs she produces are all created through her experimentation with unusual materials such as tree bark, dry leaves, cornhusks, etc. Her textiles result in the creation of unique items of wearable art. Her love for designing textiles contributes to the challenge of transforming one art form into another. Her work has been included in several exhibitions throughout Vancouver and Lower Mainland.
